Hello. I would like to ask experienced forum users for advice on choosing a camera for monitoring. The camera would have to be equipped with Wi-Fi (no wiring), and it would be powered from the 20W LED floodlight power cord (through a transformer placed in the box). So far, a set without a recorder, with an SD card installed in the camera.
The camera, as I mentioned, would be used for monitoring:
    - property (up to a fence of approx. 6m) However, there would have to be a wide angle for the camera to cover both the entrance to the house and the entrance, and the largest possible part of the fence. I would establish notification zones on the property itself. The property area is lit by a LED floodlight, which would be placed directly under the camera.
    - roads in front of the entrance (mainly for fence monitoring, due to the case of fence damage caused by a returning vehicle, etc.). The road area is not illuminated by a LED floodlight.
I paid attention to the offer of the Dahua company, although the producer does not matter much to me.
    And yes:
    - DAHUA IPC-HFW1235SP-W-0280B (converter 1 / 2.9 2 MPX, H265, 25 fps / 2, angle of view 106 °?)
    - DAHUA IPC-HFW1320SP-W-0280B (1/3 3 MPX converter, viewing angle 100 °?),
    - DAHUA IPC-HFW1435SP-W-0280B (1/3 4 MPX, H265, 25 fps / 2, viewing angle 106 °?).
I am not an expert, but from what I can see, the 1320 is probably an older model, because it does not have the H265 and the 4: 3 format, the 1235 has a larger converter even than 1435, and this one has the highest resolution.
I rather reject the 1320 model due to the lack of H265.
    - which of the other cameras will be more suitable for me. Is higher resolution more important or a larger sensor? Somewhere in another thread I found information that the Dahua 2 MPX camera gave a better image than 3MPX,
    - maybe some suggestions from other manufacturers?
    - will the view from the camera be available live via a mobile application with data transmission over the cellular network?

Gentlemen, please say at least whether in the conditions I have described, i.e. the required field of view of 8-10 m and wide angle, with an aperture of 2.8, I will achieve greater benefits by buying a 4 MP camera, or will 2 MP be sufficient, but with a larger sensor.

Has something moved in the topic? Monitoring works? Do you show off your installation?

Monitoring is working. I chose the DAHUA IPC-HFW1235SP-W-0280B cameras (the second one for the yard). Overall, I am satisfied. Only when it comes to the effectiveness of backlighting at night, it is not so rosy because it illuminates up to 6, maybe even 8 m. However, as such, we will see details only somewhere up to 4m.
