    Hello.
The key fob does not work. The remote control sends the signal, the car selects it, but the locks do not respond. It is a sedan, so the harness in the hatch comes off. I replaced the receiver module under the headliner, but to no avail. There are no errors in the CAS module. In the parameters, he sees the remote control signal when buttons are pressed. If the car is in sleep mode by pressing any button on the remote control, something clicks under the hood and the start button on the board lights up. Fuses in the glove box and in the boot checked. The central one works, of course, with an insert and a button on the board. A strange case. Apparently it happened just like the car stayed with the mechanic for a few months because the engine died. Any hints?

I had the E60 2005. with the same problem. I bought it slightly damaged and it had a dead battery, but I already had one from 2003. where everything was ok - both limos. Everything the same as you write. Cas'2 in both white. After shifting the CAS from good to not working, the central one moved. So I bought a set of key + CAS and then matching to this engine controller so that it lights up and everything works. It is difficult to say what happened, because there were no errors, the key signal was transmitting, CAS saw it

    Thanks for the info.
I had another e60 in the meantime. I changed CAS and the lock worked. I will replace, add and it will be ok.
    Greetings...

I already have a CAS with a key. Honestly, I thought maybe we could only make a CAS clone and the old remote would work but unfortunately d..pa ... :)
I need to pair it all right now.
In the batch from the CAS I bought, I entered the correct VIN and reset the mileage. The remote control works but I do not have a synchronized engine controller. Could someone edit CAS and DDE files so I can synchro? In the appendix eeproms with CAS original, CAS new and with DDE ory. Are these files enough?

Thanks. Tomorrow I check from the very morning ... :)

I checked today. Unfortunately, he doesn't smoke. But I guess I know why. I was able to do a synchro already and I have no errors in the engine or CAS. It looks like the problem is with the CAS configuration. I have info to press the clutch and fire but it is an automatic machine. In turn, I can not configure it, it does not pass the encoding and I have an error probably related to trying to encode the already encoded module. Tomorrow I will think ...

The car is done. As I thought, wrong coding of the new CAS. It wasn't straight, but it worked ...
