I am thinking of buying a battery operated hand vacuum cleaner. Mainly to fix the machine, vacuuming the car and tabletops. I like the Dysony v8 and v10 - are they worth buying or is there something more interesting on the market? I had a few similar ones in my hand, such as Bosch, and they seem much heavier than those Dysons.

Dyson is a cyclone, so like its bigger brothers, it won't clog up after every major vacuum. Suction power over 100 airwatts, Hepa filter are also features of the best equipment. There is actually nothing like this on the market. What is there are several classes below Dyson.
On the downside for me, these are pretty crap plastic, just like the floorstanders Big Ball and Cinetic Big Ball. It's hard for me to accept it for such money. I also personally considered and gave up. But I treated it more as a gadget than a real vacuum cleaner, so next to the functional parameters, the joy of using it was equally important.

In the end, I decided on a V8 - the price decided, it is almost PLN 1000 difference at this point. I am very pleased with the vacuum cleaner.
