Hello, I have the clarion rd3-01 PU-2471D (F) radio in the Citroen C8. I have a changer connected to this radio.

Clarion RD3-01 PU-2471D (F) Citroen C8: AUX Connection, Changer Plug & BLAUPUNKT VDO RD3-1 Pinout

The plug for the changer looks like this:

I looked on the Internet and probably the twin radio is, for example, BLAUPUNKT VDO RD3-1 PU-2471A PINOUT (Blaupunkt and Clarion are the same producer among others). I found this page:

    https://elektrotanya.com/blaupunkt_vdo_rd3-1_pu-2471a_pinout.pdf/download.html

and on it such a description:

Clarion RD3-01 PU-2471D (F) Citroen C8: AUX Connection, Changer Plug & BLAUPUNKT VDO RD3-1 Pinout

I watched, compared and ordered such a plug on Aliexpress:

I connected it to the radio and ... it didn't work. I think the rest of the wires are important too (controls etc). I have a question, if in the radio cube, in place of the sound output from the changer (these three pins on the left) I will give the aux sound from the phone, will it work?

I would love to know this information - because it has the same ISO plugs (ISO standard in Car Audio).
In this model, the RD3-01 stands for "radio group" and the manufacturer can be Siemens, Blaupunkt and Clarion.

What do you think the VAN communication is there for?

Wasn't it better to look for the middle miniISO connector? The green ones?
There are corresponding input signals on pins 11 and 12.

Just remember that then you have to program for the radio to use this input.

Thanks for the answer. I didn't even think about the green plug and the telephone input.

"Just remember that then you have to program for the radio to use this input." -Programming through the diagnostic connector on the computer, this radio has the option of operating the phone?

"I connected to the radio and ... it did not work. I think that the rest of the wires are also important (control, etc.). I have a question, if I will give a sound to the radio cube instead of the sound output from the changer (these three pins on the left) from aux from the phone, will it work? " - so it is impossible, there is no point in trying?

You need to use the computer to activate an additional input - e.g. the green one.

It will work from the blue input only when you remove only these 3 wires from the changer and connect to the AUX. As the radio does not see the changer - VAN communication - will not turn on this input.

I did so. I cut the three wires that "go" from the audio from the changer and connected the aux cable in this place. Everything works. The only drawback is that the changer must work, i.e. play a CD.
