Hello Samsung SM-A520F. I can't upload the firmware, the phone was working fine until I tried to erase the frp. At the moment Z3X says:
    Operation: Flash
    Selected model: SM-A520F
    Firmware version: 34.3

    Analyzing the file... Ok
Total file size: 0x11EB88963 (4587 Mb)
Searching USB Flash interface... COM24 detected
    Connection Settings... Ok
I'm reading the PIT from the phone... Ok
    Sending sboot.bin.lz4... Ok
    Sending param.bin.lz4... error timeout
    Samsung Tool PRO v.34.3 completed

I downloaded several firmwares, always the same. Odin also crashed Fail for me.
At the moment the phone hangs on the logo, I can possibly switch to download mode.

Please indicate which firmware, or where I can make a mistake. Regards

I was able to go to Recovery:

Samsung SM-A520F Firmware Upload Issues: param.bin.lz4 Timeout Error with Odin and Z3X

Continued: data wipe/recovery was throwing an error.
    I ran ''reboot to bootloader.''
And the phone booted up, sort of okay. Like because frp is still there. Will it be possible to get through it somehow. Regards

You have the reason in the message on the display. The phone is currently soft with binary 7/U7 and you are trying to upload soft binary 4 to it. Download the latest available (preferably using SamFirma) and it will upload without any problems. It is not possible to downgrade the software to an older one with a lower binary version.

As for FRP, you must either look for a COMBINATION with binary 7 (available) or try alternative methods. Directly, only from the download mode you can't do it.

Thanks for your help, of course you were right. It was enough to download the new soft from binary 7 and the machine started. Following your suggestion, I looked for soft combination binary 7. It is like this and I was able to load it. It fires a soft combination. And that's where I stopped. I search the net how to deal with frp. Thanks in advance for your help. Regards

Hello, unfortunately in odin it hangs on SET PARTITION. What am I doing wrong?
The new odin is important, it went pretty fast on it. Everything according to the instructions, unfortunately after uploading the frp is still a problem.

You have 2 methods, depending on the model. You throw the whole COMBINATION and you will start the so-called "factory binary". What I understand works for you.
Now check in the developer settings if there is an OEM Unlock option. As it is - you mark it, verify in the bootloader whether FRP is already OFF and you can immediately upload the whole soft.
If not for what you have, you upload the 4-file soft by choosing HOME_CSC instead of CSC, or if you flash it, for example with z3x, you uncheck userdata.img. As a result, the phone will turn on after the flash and skip the first part of the setup, then you can turn on OEM Unlocking which will turn off FRP and finally upload the whole, clean soft.

Thank you. Problem solved. Option with COMBINATION software didn't work because there was no ''OEM Unlock'' option. The second option is a bull's-eye, a 4-file soft uploaded according to BLAHFFF's advice. Enable OEM Unlock. Uploading the full firmware and the phone is without frp. Thank you very much for help. Kind regards

    Same as above.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around firmware upload issues for the Samsung SM-A520F, specifically encountering a timeout error with the param.bin.lz4 file during flashing attempts using Z3X and Odin. The user initially faced problems after attempting to erase the FRP, leading to the phone being stuck on the logo. Responses indicate that the issue stemmed from trying to downgrade the firmware to a lower binary version, which is not supported. The recommended solution involved downloading the latest firmware compatible with binary 7 and using a combination firmware to bypass FRP. The user successfully resolved the issue by following the advice to upload a 4-file firmware while ensuring OEM Unlock was enabled, allowing the phone to operate without FRP.
