Hello, I have a desktop computer and a laptop. Windows 10 is installed on both.
Laptop connected to the network via wifi, and a desktop computer with a twisted pair. Both connected to the netia spot router. I would like to exchange files between them on the local network. The laptop can see itself on the local network, but cannot see the computer. The computer sees the laptop on the network but cannot see itself. When I try to enter from my computer to shared files in my laptop pops up "Entering network credentials" login and password ...
    1. What to do to make the computer visible in the local network?
    2. How do I set the password and login for network credentials?

    1) Control Panel / Network and Sharing Center / Change advanced sharing settings / Network discovery

    "Turn on network discovery"

    2) Control Panel / Network and Sharing Center / Change advanced sharing settings.

"All networks / Password protected sharing" (disable this)

If you were to set passwords, you would have to create a user with a password and then enter the username and password in the credentials.

You can enter user data from the computer you want to connect to. However, empty passwords are not allowed in this case.

problem 2 is solved .. the computer sees the laptop's files
problem # 1 no ... (I've already tried network discovery is on)

Added after 3 [hours] 5 [minutes]:

After opening the Explorer window and entering // computer_name in the address bar
now he sees the computer in the network neighborhood and the shared folders but when he tries to access some "network error .. windows cannot access ..

after typing on the laptop, immediately "windows cannot get access" (the laptop still does not see it on the network)

the ping goes both ways, moreover, on the computer I can view the files shared on the laptop ..

    any ideas?

at the moment I am in this place:
"See the windows + r key on the keyboard, type services.msc and search for the publication of function discovery resources, give the start type automatic and the host of the function discovery provider. I remember that I also looked in these services and compared between my laptop and computer.

There, at the top, someone wrote to search for the computer name, but vice versa, after clicking on the lupe, you should enter \\ computer name or \\ its local ip.

Way to go! there is progress after setting these two options to automatic, the computer is already visible in the network (the computer sees itself in the network, the laptop also sees the computer in the network), typing is not necessary, it can see without typing ... however, there is still no access to shared folders ..
On the laptop, I can not see the shared folders of the computer at all, I click on network> computer_name, the window "Windows cannot access \\ computer_name" pops up. However, on the computer I can see shared folders, but I cannot access them, I click network> computer_name> shared_folder "Windows cannot access \\ computer_name \ shared_folder" pops up

if anyone has any ideas, please write ...
