Hi, I bought JBL T460 headphones some time ago. So far, they have been doing well and without any problems, and even yesterday I was using them for a walk. I went back and put them back as usual, and unfortunately today I couldn't turn them on at all, which unfortunately had not happened to me before.

I connected it to the charger, the light came on, but every time I start them, I only hear a low battery message, and a moment later they turn off and do not want to turn on again. I have to reconnect them. My guess is that it's a battery, I don't know if I have a warranty for it, I bought it from a media expert. Maybe some of you had a similar problem?

It is possible (I do not know the charger system of this model) that the battery has discharged below the permissible value (for the charger) and it "thinks" that it is damaged - so it does not connect the charging voltage to them. In the phones, you could try to charge (literally a dozen or so seconds) to charge such a battery from an external power supply. Usually, after such a procedure, the battery "got up" and then it worked normally. You just had to be careful not to discharge it to the end. Maybe it is similar in your case - but are you able to get to the battery to disconnect it from the headphone system and charge it from an external power supply?

    Thanks for the help.

The headphones finally charged for a long time, they must have been exposed to the current a bit. Now they are basically working normally, but I have noticed an issue that could be the reason for this. Namely, if I jerk them a bit more or put them away, they automatically turn off and sometimes they won't catch if I want to turn them on again. This requires connecting to the charger, even for a second, so that only the light comes on. Then I can turn them on normally. I don't know anything about it, so I would say that apparently some cable is not touching, but why connecting to the charger allows them to be turned on again? I am at odds with electronics, so disassembling parts is unlikely to work, I figured out the warranty and it is up to date, but I do not know if their service makes any sense.

Why doesn't it make sense? You are guaranteed - enjoy! As I know life, it will end up replacing the equipment with a new one anyway ...

Usually every battery is expected after 2 years to wear out, so it needs to be changed. Especially if there is a "low battery" message...
