Hi. I have a problem with the noise of the Helios ELS-V 60/35 fan. I would like to turn off the first gear and control the exhaust myself. Is it possible? Please advise.

I am sending a diagram of the system in the attachment.

I apologize for such a general description of the problem. Now I have a switch that starts the second gear, i.e. 60m3/h. The first gear is running all the time at 35m3/h. I would like to completely turn off the first gear and turn the second gear on and off with the switch.

To stop it from working, you have to disconnect the power supply... :)

So what about unplugging the cable from position no. 1 (see diagram)? The manual says something about return voltage. Does this affect the system?

Try to bypass (disconnect) the pin 1 switch and check if the fan will then be on "two". If so, you can do as I wrote - connect the power supply to start the fan immediately "on two" (this switch should be used to turn on the supply voltage and the contacts it shorted should be bridged).

I have this connection. When it comes to electricity, I only know how to change a socket or connect a lamp in series. I haven`t had any experience with bridging. If you could help me a little more, I would be very grateful. Regards

I disconnected the brown cable as in the photo. The fan does not have 1st gear and when I want, I only turn on 2nd gear with the switch. This is what I ment :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a noise issue with the Helios ELS-V 60/35 fan, specifically the desire to deactivate the first gear (35m3/h) and control the second gear (60m3/h) manually. The user initially sought advice on whether it was possible to turn off the first gear. Responses included suggestions to disconnect the power supply or bypass the pin 1 switch to enable operation solely on the second gear. The user successfully implemented a solution by disconnecting a specific cable, allowing for the first gear to be disabled and the second gear to be activated with a switch.
