Hello, I have such a problem. Well, my contract with nc+ ended and I moved to Cyfrowy Polsat. Today, the courier delivered me the EVOBOX PVR decoder, after connecting it, the sat1 and sat2 inputs have 0% power and quality. I checked on an old decoder with nc+, everything is fine there, 100% strength and 80-90% quality.

So the question is why can this happen?

    Regards.

Either the decoder is damaged or something in the converter settings in the Menu. What converter do you have?

Hello. What installation? Do you have two converters (strabismus)? Is it in a block? Then the DiSEqC settings in the decoder.

Surely in the settings for the converter you need to go through the procedure.
Do you have a single converter and the decoder is set to Unicable?

By default, the Evobox is set to Inverto unicable. You need to switch to a regular converter, 1 or 2 inputs.

After entering the menu, you need to change the antenna settings a bit. I assume that the old sat antenna converter was a universal or so-called monoblock. Then in the menu, first, set the way you connected the antenna cable - SAT1 (LNB1) or SAT2 (LNB2). The LNB type cannot be SCR(unicable), only single or universal and the satellite set as HotBird. Also check that there is not too much copper sticking out of the F-type connectors - it must be flush with the F-connector, not protruding. If this does not help, check the operation of the decoder at the nearest Cyfrowy Polsat point. I don't know if you own or lease, but they should replace if defective.

And one more thing - on the old NC+ decoder, check in the antenna settings in the menu what installation (or single cable), what type of converter (probably universal) and whether it worked on DiSEq. I've seen such solutions for the Monoblock in the canopy. All these settings need to be transferred to the new Evobox.

Change in Evobox PVR in Settings / Antenna / Configuration / Converter type to Universal. After changing, disconnect and reconnect the decoder's power supply.
    Wait for reboot.

Topic summary

The user is experiencing 0% power and quality on the Sat1 and Sat2 inputs of their EVOBOX PVR decoder after switching from NC+ to Cyfrowy Polsat. Responses suggest potential issues with the decoder settings, specifically the converter type and DiSEqC configuration. Recommendations include checking the converter type in the settings, ensuring it is set to Universal, and verifying the connection of the antenna cable. Users are advised to compare settings from the old NC+ decoder and ensure proper installation of the LNB. If issues persist, testing the decoder at a Cyfrowy Polsat point is recommended.
