    Hello everyone!

As in the topic, I have a problem with the internet on my laptop - sometimes the speed drops below 1 Mb/s.
This is not the fault of the provider (Vectra), as on my girlfriend's or roommate's laptop the speed at the time is around 35 Mbps.
This happens from time to time, however it is terribly inconvenient.

My laptop is a Lenovo Y510P with the original Windows 10. I keep my computer clean, with only Microsoft Office, Panda Antivirus and Fifa 19 installed - all original.
Over the summer I replaced the drive with an SSD.

As for the internet in the flat:
    - we have 2 routers - separate in each room, but it's "the same internet" (I mean we pay 1 contract)
    - 2 laptops in each room, so there are 2 laptops per 1 router
    - only I have this problem, no matter which network I connect to

I realise that I have given too little information but as you have noticed I am not familiar with this.
I am keen to solve this problem, so please write in the comments what I should check/which screnny I should insert etc., and I will try to complete everything.

Thank you in advance for your interest in the topic.
    Greetings!

Ok, I'll do what you said and let you know if it helped.
As I mentioned, sometimes the problem is every day and sometimes it's not even for 3 days.

The very beginning and here already problems - which one should I choose?

I did everything in the Youtube tutorial.

As for the card drivers, I clicked on it and updated. Some drivers downloaded and updated, but (screen) nothing changed.

Since nothing changed I installed the drivers from the manufacturer's website

However, the network card settings still show 30.04.2015 although the drivers were from 2017.

    Yes, I check with speedtest.
I have the possibility to connect by cable, but only for a while, but as I mentioned it does not occur all the time.
Now it remains to wait and observe if the problem has subsided.

I have also installed the latest Windows updates.

Which ones, what are they, how configured (AP, APC)?

Mark which is your network and insert a photo of the wifi network measurement here.

Thanks for your interest in the topic.
However, as I mentioned I am green in these matters also I need a lot of time to check everything you ask for.

For now, I'll watch to see if the problem persists - maybe updating the network card drivers helped.
If the problem persists I will continue with the topic.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Lenovo Y510P laptop experiencing intermittent WiFi speed drops below 1 Mb/s, while other devices in the same network maintain stable speeds around 35 Mbps. The user has updated the network card drivers and Windows, but the issue persists. Suggestions include checking for the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website, disabling unnecessary background services, and monitoring the connection speed using tools like Speedtest. The user is advised to observe if the problem continues after the updates and to consider connecting via Ethernet temporarily for further testing.
