Can someone explain to me the differences between the Bester 210 ND VS Bester 210 ST welding machines. Same as 170 ND / 170 ST and 150 ND and 150 ST
The former have a smaller size and display, the latter are larger and much more expensive. There is no information about the ND series on the Bester website. Maybe because they are dedicated to sale in supermarkets such as Castorama. Thanks in advance for your help.

The ST series is more expensive and heavier because you have a better welding cycle available there. For example, for 210 ST you have 20% for 200 A and for 210 ND you only have 10%.
Of course, this can be an advantage, because if the weight and dimensions are important to you - you do not weld in the workshop but in the field, you install / assemble something and usually use a lower current, e.g. 150 A max, it is better to take the smaller one and, if necessary, 200 A also for you will take a short time.

    Added after 34 [minutes]:

However, I noticed that these welding machines from the ST series also somehow got cheaper and the difference in price is currently small - look at Allegro and Ceneo.

I have already had the ND model for 2 months. Working with her is really a pleasure. It is not Professional equipment, but it is perfect for garage and home work. The tig lift also works nicely. I recommend it to everyone.

Cool! And how is this work cycle? It often turns off, or with such hobby use, is it enough to get two three electrodes to sleep and then to rest?
I saw that you can buy this model cheaply in Castorama. Bester is a great company with traditions. Only the website is not very transparent.

It has never turned on for me while welding. The parameters are honestly given, even slightly lowered. After all, it's Lincoln and not just any Chinese who gives the parameters that come to his mind. I recommend it for amateur use. I bought mine in liroymerlin. There they were in good promotion.

These are 2 identical welders with the same specifications. The 210ND model is a little newer - new transformer. The welding currents are ok - they are not underestimated. The only way to confirm this is with a resistor and a compliance check according to EN 60974-14.

Topic summary

The discussion compares the Bester 210 ND and Bester 210 ST welding machines, highlighting that both models share similar specifications but differ mainly in size, weight, price, and welding cycle performance. The 210 ST is larger, heavier, and more expensive, offering a better duty cycle (e.g., 20% at 200 A) compared to the 210 ND's 10% at the same current. The 210 ND is more compact with a smaller display, suitable for fieldwork or hobby use with lower current demands (around 150 A). Users report the ND model as reliable for amateur and garage work, with accurate welding parameters and functional TIG lift. The ND series is less documented on the official Bester website and is often sold through retail chains like Castorama and Leroy Merlin. The 210 ND is noted as a slightly newer model featuring a new transformer. Verification of welding current accuracy can be done via compliance testing according to EN 60974-14 standards.
