    Hello
In my new apartment I have access to two fixed internet providers - UPC and Orange. I would like to ask you about:
    - how with access to configuration in the routers of both providers and the ability to set DNS, WiFi names and passwords, change passwords to configure the router?
    - service stability, failure frequency at both providers?
    - Orange claims to lead the fiber to the router in the apartment, UPC claims to lead the optical fiber to the building, and then via the ordinary cable to the apartments. Does it matter with 500Mbps bandwidth?

    Hi.
It all depends on what services you will additionally buy. In UPC with the Internet only you will get Compal Broadband CH7465LG (so called Connect Box). It is a white box that feels best when standing upright. There are no external antennas, the range is overwhelming with one not very solid wall. You can easily change the network name, passwords. You must be unlucky for UPC to work badly - ask a neighbor how it works. Overall, I lived in three countries, UPC worked great everywhere, now I have 500Mbit in Wrocław, maybe one short failure in 3 years.
    A few things:
    - you need to report how you want to have IPv6 turned off (e.g. to connect to your home from outside, or some games that require port forwarding (they do it very fast, but by default you fly via IPv6),
    - UPC has full access to your equipment, the passwords you set on the device (saved in the device in plain text), in total, if they want access to your home network. So it is good to switch the device to modem (bridge) mode and throw in your router, e.g. some Mikrotik (RBD52G hAP ac2 is now popular).
Orange: Works too, especially optical fiber. Years later, the parents had a change from Neostrada, which was blowing in gusts of 6 / 0.25, and when the light was released, it is equal to 100Mbit. A device that is simple to configure, extremely strong wifi (better than the previous basic tplink with Neostrada, it 'pierces' with a strong signal through a solid ceiling.

Here and here is good. Sometimes it pays off to take in packages, e.g. in the family there is Orange 100Mbit with a mobile phone subscription and TV. Think about what you need, I have only the Internet and for me UPC 500Mbit is now the best choice.

Aaaaa, as for UPC - the last few weeks I was working from home and there was a software upgrade on the router (restart) several times at some wild hour, i.e. around 9 am, but it calmed down ;-)
