Why does a Saeco Incanto Deluxe HD8922 show error 2, and what component should be checked or replaced?

Error 2 on this Saeco usually points to a problem in the coffee grinder, most often a jammed or faulty grinder motor [#18390536] One user reported that the error was caused by a burnt coffee grinder motor, and replacing the motor restored grinder operation [#18393182] Another case showed that a worn gear/mode in the grinder was locking the motor up; the machine would only run after manually starting the motor until the next jam [#19726712] Replacing the engine/motor was also reported to work as a fix [#19730725]

    A warm welcome to everyone.
    I have a Saeco Incanto Deluxe HD8922 coffee machine, which is displaying error code 2. I would be grateful if anyone could advise whether they have encountered this error before. The manual I found online does not mention an error with this code. Thank you in advance for your replies.

    The fault was caused by a burnt-out motor in the coffee grinder. Thanks for the tip!
    After replacing it, the grinder is working, but there’s a problem with the quality of the coffee. The coffee is very weak.
    How do I adjust the burr settings correctly, and what else could be causing the coffee to be so watery?

    Clean and lubricate the brewing unit. After a dozen or so coffees, the machine will adjust the amount of coffee according to the strength setting.

    Set the grinding coarseness so that the coffee flows as slowly but steadily as possible from both sides. If you get to the minimum on the knob, you have to turn the knob. There is a way to calibrate the burrs, but it is a waste of time, it is good at the factory when everything is new.

    And the most important. Do not overdo it with water, one coffee is about 100 ml of water, epresso max 50.

    Hello;
    You can write where you bought and for how much such an engine? I have the same error, but in my case it helps to "start" the engine and the grinder is already working. Of course, until the next jam - error number 2.

    I don't even know how to check this engine.

    Hello

    I also have error 2 but after disassembling the grinder it looks to blame for a worn skew mode which is causing the motor to lock up.
    Until yesterday, turning the grinder pliers helped me as well. Now I don't want to twist so it gets stuck.

    For now, I'm ordering the mode itself.

    I had to replace the engine and so far it has been effective. I did not disassemble the engine into its first parts.
