Hello. I am a user of Asus tuf gaming model FX505DY. The problem I encountered is new to me and I don`t know what it is. While using the device, a black screen appeared and the device did not respond to any commands except holding the On/Off button for about 15 seconds. After turning off the device, it does not want to turn on and the only thing you can see is the working keyboard backlight. Power LEDs do not respond to connecting or disconnecting the power supply. Thanks for your time and please help! Asus tuf gaming - Does not turn on. The keyboard is backlit. He doesn't respond to Mr

If there is a warranty, use it.
If not, look for a website.

I have the same problem - a laptop I recently bought on x-kom, as far as I know, I got the last one they had on sale,
The laptop has been on the desk for a month since new, the keyboard and mouse are connected to the USB ports, it hasn`t even been touched since it was new, it charged for 3 hours before connecting it, then maybe I disconnected it from the power supply once, and this morning my trach got stuck during online lessons and I got sick. exactly the same, in my opinion overvoltage. I won`t say I use the laptop quite a lot, about 5-6 hours every day, because I`m an IT student.

Problem solved, I contacted the Asus service center to see if I could remove the disk and copy the items before shipping, they told me it would be fine as long as I didn`t damage anything or break the seals. Before removing it, I disconnected the batteries, then when I did everything, I connected it, screwed everything together and it worked. All I had to do was unplug the batteries and plug them in, best regards.

Hi, could you tell me how you dealt with the battery issue? I`m completely new to the subject and my son stopped doing the same thing.

I just had an identical problem. However, I preferred not to touch anything since I still have warranty. In the meantime, I look into it and the keyboard has gone out, the battery is completely discharged, I guess. I pressed the power button for 1 minute (I don`t know if it helped at all), as the manufacturer recommends, then I connected the charger and everything worked.

The earlier tormenting of the on/off button did not help, apparently you need to either remove and insert the batteries or wait until it dies.

Howdy - my son had a similar driving situation, i.e. the light turned red + no life in the lap - after the battery ran out (about 2 days), we connected the power supply and it worked. :-) I wonder how much the website would charge for such an "operation"... 😉
    Greetings!!!
