Good morning,
The time has come that I decided not only to use the already existing vast resources of knowledge on this worthy Forum, but also to actively ask for help.
I bought a GoodRam 32GB flash drive less than a year ago and it worked flawlessly until I tried to install macOS on it. After a routine reboot, the bootloader stopped seeing partitions.
MacOs - like Gparted (lsblk) - does not see the device at all. Windows XP assigns a drive letter, but access and format are not possible (capacity = 0). (Photo of "bare bones" attached)
Interestingly enough: ChipGenius mainly gives this result:
..but once it showed a bit different:
Looking for help, I found, among other things:
https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic1808445.html
Unfortunately, the link from the key post #7 in my opinion does not work
MPTOOL_v2159, which google suggested to me as the right one for this memory, throws out:
Unfortunately, my ideas and skills are running out.
Maybe Monsieur @pidar would have any idea?
About two years ago, I managed to save a Kingston 64GB flash drive and, encouraged by that success, I would like to try it with this GoodRam as well.
I am asking for help, even in the form of information, whether it makes sense to do something about it, or is it just a waste of time.
Greetings and have a nice time during quarantine
