    Hello,
Yesterday I disconnected the extension cord to which the TV and set-top box were connected. After plugging the extension cord back into the socket, my set-top box does not work. There is a red light on it and it does not respond to the remote control or buttons on the decoder. I wanted to do a hard reset about which there is something written on the internet, but I do not have a reset button on the remote control. I'm totally green on this topic. I would like to add that all cables have been disconnected and reconnected several times and it did not help. I attach a photo of the remote control and the decoder. I will be very grateful for your willingness to help.

There is no small button somewhere on the decoder with the signature RESET? They are generally concave and you need to insert a piece of toothpick or needle into the hole.

What is the decoder model? (check on the net how to reset the decoder from this manufacturer). Turn it off, turn it on again or disconnect the power cord, because I don't know if you mean all of them with the power supply. (which is strange that this button would not work). Hold down the power button on the modem for several seconds, it might have reset this way.

These decoders are ... a curse. How can people be infected with them? I have similar problems and have even replaced it. Nothing helps. It freezes from time to time and only disconnects it from the power supply for about 10 seconds. then turning it back on may reset it. After switching on, "boot" is displayed for several dozen seconds and the red LED flashes and then it turns green and it does not start. If this does not help, the decoder may be damaged. Then - the service.

Set aside the decoder to the Canal + point. Take your ID card with you ... ;) After the pandemic, of course. :)
    If necessary, proceed as follows:
1 - remove the card and disconnect the decoder from the power supply for approx. 10 seconds, then connect to the power supply
2 - wait for the decoder to start working (it takes 15-30 s, wait during this time)
3 - if this attempt does not help - perform another reset, but additionally without the antenna and still without the card
4 - wait for the decoder to start working (it takes 15-30 s, wait during this time)
5 - if the attempt fails again - disconnect the decoder from the power supply, press P + and P- on the housing (left and middle buttons) and then, while holding the buttons, connect the power supply. Keep the buttons pressed until the display shows "8888". The decoder starts downloading the update, which is signaled by the blinking digits on the display. The update takes about 20 minutes. Do not disconnect the decoder during this time, but wait patiently for the process to end.

If I am not mistaken, this procedure applies to Sagemcom decoders (DSI 83/87, DSIW74). And in the photo you can see WiFi Premiumbox (ADB NCP-4740SF). For this decoder model, the operator recommends "only" ...

    The decoder must be replaced.

The user reports that their NC+ set-top box is unresponsive after reconnecting it to power, indicated by a persistent red light and lack of response to both the remote control and physical buttons. Suggestions from the forum include checking for a reset button, which the user confirmed is absent. Other users recommend disconnecting the power supply for 10 seconds, removing the card, and attempting various reset procedures, including holding specific buttons while powering on.
