Hello, I would like to purchase a battery for my ZENIT TTL camera(needed for the light meter), but I'm getting conflicting information about the model of such a battery - it seems that it should be one LR 9/PX 625 battery. Anybody know anything about the subject?

From what I remember it was LR9 lozenge (625). Although I don't have a Zenith TTL, only a Zenith 15, but the cells in it are the same as in the TTL (3xLR9).

Yes, a 1.5V lozenge battery. Named differently, LR9/PX625 depending on the manufacturer.
