The easiest way to install is another console with Free McBoot installed. Then you just need to insert the second memory card and run the installation. You can also look for a boot cd image but it works depending on the model. You need a different CD image for each model.

In a nutshell, this is for consoles with ROMVER 2.30+.
However, installation is simplified.

No version of Fortuna (even the modded version) supports all consoles.
Usually SCPH-700XX to SCPH-900XX, which is SLIM, are supported.
I think it still worked with the SCPH-500XX.
