The Hex V2 cable, a clone from China, does not work for me. It worked without a problem a few months ago, initially it was bricked because I didn`t turn off the Internet and I had to reprogram it, but then it worked.
Today I wanted to clear the errors with vcds and it doesn`t work, the message "cable not connected to the car" appears and the cable is connected, the green LED is on.
I took it apart, checked February, corrected February and nothing, it still doesn`t work.
Checked on several versions of vcds by the loader.
What`s strange is that it doesn`t show me the HW version, previously I had 1.95 and now nothing.
I wanted to re-upload it, but using the VAGCOM_EEWriteLang program it doesn`t work, the message "no response" appears, even though the cable is connected to the car.
I checked on two cars, both were the same.
In the control panel, the cable shows as: Ross-Tech Direct Usb Interface.
Win10 pro system, built-in antivirus, disabled, net for vcds test disabled.
The VAGCOM_HWType program does not read the cable, but others such as MProg or FT_Prog see the cable.
Inside there are: Atmega162, FTDI1635
At the very beginning, when I connected the VCDS, the vehicle was scanned and suddenly things went wrong and the cable stopped working.
I checked on two laptops and the same thing.
What`s going on and what can I do about it?
The host file was also copied to the right place so that the cable wouldn`t turn into a brick again.
I don`t know, maybe there`s something wrong with the drivers, does anyone have any other ones for Win 10 64? I tried the ones from vcds, uninstalled and reinstalled, but still the same.
