    Hello

I didn't manage to register on the Xiaomi forum so I'm writing on the electrode

I have owned devices from Xiaomi for 2 years and have been happy so far.
Recently, however, I decided to replace the Fibaro system with a set from Xiaomi and for this purpose I bought a Gateway 2 together with a set of sensors (the gateway has a Chinese plug) even though I bought in Poland. I have the application set to the EU server.

The problem with this gateway is that it sees all the sensors that were included in the kit and works with them, however, when I try to connect sensors such as a flooding sensor (Aqara) or a smoke sensor (Honeywell) via the "child devices", the sensors are detected by the gateway but the gateway shows that they are in online mode. Also, the names given to them disappear and when you give a name to a sensor - the same name goes in place of the gateway name. It is also not possible to make scenes with new sensors, only the ones that were included in the set are visible.

Has anyone had such symptoms or knows how to remedy this I would be grateful for an answer.

    Best regards Piotr

Give more specifics - e.g. what kind of sensors it is. You have an older gateway - this could also be a problem.
JTYJ-GD-01LM/BW may only be supported by the Chinese server or require a V3 gateway. The same may be true of the flooding sensor.
In addition, there is the issue of range. You may want to check operation with a modified app to start with (you will rule out or confirm a regionalisation issue).
Consider using e.g. Home Assistant + multi gateway - you get rid of many problems - e.g. regionalisation and manufacturer cloud.

    The sensors are
    flood - Aqara - SJCGQ11LM
    smoke - honeywell - JTYJ-GD-01LMBW
gateway is MI Control HUB DGNWG05LM

The range is good because it detects the sensors from their locations when trying to pair.

As for the modified app - how do I install this?

Last option Home assistant - is what gateway for this will be good and above all will work with all sensors?

Both sensors as far as I know work on CN servers, but ask your dealer about this, maybe you have the EU versions.

For the Home Assistanta you can take the CC2531 for a start (if you buy it programmed and the version with antenna) - the main advantage is the price, much better the Conbee II (amazon.de, they send quite fast).

I have a problem with this application because I download it to my phone, install it and at the end of the installation it says "application cannot be installed".
And I do not know what to do about it?
