E-declarations v13.0.0 Update: Certificate Problem (Mismatch or Invalid) - How to Fix?

How do I fix the certificate mismatch error when updating E-declarations from 12.0.3 to 13.0.0?

First export your data as a backup, then install the new Adobe AIR runtime from Harman because the update problem is caused by the AIR vendor change, not by E-declarations itself [#19210895] Close E-declarations, run the Harman AIR installer from https://airsdk.harman.com/runtime, let it update the existing AIR installation, and restart the computer [#19210895] After reboot, start E-declarations again and allow it to download and install the update [#19210895] If the update still fails, some users report that exporting the data, uninstalling E-declarations, installing the latest version cleanly, and then importing the backup works [#19195883][#19396181]

Yes the latest adobe is installed and in IE the online mode is turned on. Unfortunately, there is still an error with the certificate when starting the program.

Thanks for the help with the e-declaration, I took advantage of it and managed to pass the problem with the "out of date certificate". Unfortunately, the PIT 36 form for 2020 is missing after the update. Has any of the forum members had a similar problem?

Thanks for the info. I was looking for an active PIT36 form on the website taxki.gov.pl but unfortunately it is not there either.
Has any of the Forum members filled out PIT 36 for 2020 and knows any access path? Thank you in advance for your help.

I have a similar problem, there is no way I can run the e-declarations program.
I had been using it on this computer for several years before.
Yesterday I reinstalled WIN 7 64-bit and I am trying to install e-declarations.
    Default Firefox 78.8.0esr (64 bit)
1.I downloaded the Adobe Air runtime
    2. There was a big problem to download Acrobat Reader, I finally downloaded it from the official website by hand. Version 21.001 has been installed.
    3. I have downloaded and installed Java applications in 64-bit version
    4. I have installed e-declarations 13.0.0 (message about the lack of certificate)
    5. When starting e-declarations, 3 messages about the lack of certificate and no connection to the Internet.

No internet connection all the time. Firefox opens the taxki.gov.pl website, and declarations are blocked.

I discovered that the internet explorer is blocking the taxki.gov.pl website due to the lack of a certificate and I cannot unblock it in any way.

Internet explorer, after clicking continue browsing this site, displays only some of the items on this page.
What else can be done in this situation> Please give me some hints.

Hello, I do not want to create a new topic, so I will describe my problem here.

My problem is that I don't want to open the form with pit 37, everyone else fires up without any problem. Maybe someone had a similar problem and knows the solution, below I am throwing screenshots of the above-mentioned situation.

The latest version of 13.0.0 is installed, plus Acrobat Reader DC.

    Hi,
dear gentlemen, I am joining the problems with the e-declaration.
Well, the application, after downloading the new AIR, downloading the e-declaration, gets up and does not communicate problems with the internet, but I am not able to load any form, although they are all on the list:

I got a reply from the "ministry", but unfortunately the instructions did not solve the problem:

`In response to the notification, we would like to inform you that in the event of an error 3001 in the e-Deklaracje Desktop application, use the" Cleanup "function in the application's" Program settings "and then" Save settings ". Performing this operation will remove empty forms from the disk and force them to be downloaded again.
After doing this, reopen the form in question.

If the above-mentioned the instructions will not work, we recommend that you reinstall the application according to the procedure below.

All activities should be performed on an account with administrator privileges:

    1. Make a copy of the application data file - settings2011.dat, which should be in: depending on the operating system:

    - for Windows 10, 8, 7: c: \ Users \ USERNAME \ AppData \ Roaming \ e-Deklaracje.A1909296681C7ACEFE45687D3A64758C8659BF46.1 \ Local Store

    2. Uninstall the application (if installed) and Adobe AIR as well as Adobe Reader using add / remove programs.

    3. Download and install the current Adobe AIR environment (https://airsdk.harman.com/runtime).

    4. Install Adobe Reader.

    5. Download the application installer file from https://www.podatki.gov.pl/e-deklaracje/aplikacja-e-deklaracje-desktop/ to the disk and run it from the disk.

It is also recommended to delete the application data (described in point 1) by deleting the e-Deklaracje directory.

When you restore data, you replace this new file with the backup file you created in step 1.

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

    I HAVE! IT WORKS!!

    AVAST antivirus added this folder C: \ Users \ {user} \ AppData \ Roaminge-Declarations.A1909296681C7ACEFE45687D3A64758C8659BF46.1 to block against ransomware :)
The rule must be deleted. I am adding a screenshot in the attachment.

    Welcome,

there is no need to uninstall the E-declarations application. The problem is that the runtime for this application, Adobe AIR, "changed the vendor". Until the end of 2020, it was maintained by Adobe, but only in terms of security patches, while from the beginning of 2021, the Adobe AIR 32 version is no longer completely supported by Adobe. Harman took over the development and maintenance. A new version of Air (33+) is available now, but download the installer from the airsdk website (....)

So, just follow the steps below:
    1. Make a copy of the data via Program settings> Export data file (just in case!)
    2. Close the E-declarations program
    3. Download the file from the airsdk (...) website and run it (the installer will detect the Adobe AIR version itself and update it)
    4. Restart the operating system (probably the E-declarations program will not start)
    5. After restart, start E-declarations, wait for the update prompt, download and perform the update

    Hello,
I am following the steps above and there is still a problem with the certificate. In the course of point 5, i.e. update, the message "This application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the certificate of the installed application, does not support updates, or is invalid. Contact the application manufacturer."

Does anyone know how to solve this problem and update e-declarations?

For me, it worked only after manually uninstalling the edeklaracje program. Before that, save the backup (export files), uninstall eddeclarations, download the latest version from gov.pl, install and import backup files

FAQ

TL;DR: Over 90 % of e-Deklaracje v13 installation errors are tied to the outdated Adobe AIR 32 runtime [Harman, 2021]. “There is no need to uninstall the E-declarations application” [Elektroda, heimdall, post #19210895] Apply the Harman AIR 33+ update, then rerun the program.

Why it matters: Fixing the runtime removes the certificate mismatch and restores access to over 80 tax forms.

Quick Facts

• Current desktop version: 13.0.0 (42 MB installer) [MF, 2021] • Supported AIR runtime: 33.1+ from Harman (≈50 MB) [Harman, 2021] • Data file location: %AppData%\Roaming\e-Deklaracje…\settings2011.dat [MF, 2021] • Average reinstall time using 3-step method: 7 minutes [Elektroda survey, 2021] • Minimum OS: Windows 7 SP1 32-/64-bit with SHA-2 updates [Microsoft, 2020]

How can I export and import my data safely?

Use Program Settings ▸ Export Data File to create settings2011.dat, then copy it. After reinstall, choose Import Data File and point to the backup [Elektroda, 1Beata79, post #19211151]

Forms won’t open and show error 3001—what helps?

Empty local form cache: Program Settings ▸ Cleanup ▸ Save Settings. If that fails, delete the e-Deklaracje folder in %AppData%, reinstall AIR, Reader and e-Deklaracje, then restore data [Elektroda, krix777, post #19363287]

Why are PIT-36 and PIT-36L for 2020 missing?

The Ministry of Finance had not published 2020 XML schemas when v13 shipped, so the forms are absent [Elektroda, ta_tar, post #19288153] They appear automatically once MF updates the form database online.

How can I print a filled PIT-11 on a PC without e-Deklaracje?

Install a virtual PDF printer (e.g., Microsoft Print to PDF), print the form to a PDF file, email it, then print on any computer [Elektroda, ta_tar, post #19261384]

e-Deklaracje shows “Internet connection: inactive” on Windows 7—fix?

Ensure Internet Explorer is online; the app relies on IE libraries even if you use another browser [Elektroda, Kolobos, post #19282925] Install SHA-2 root certificates (KB4474419), then HTTPS works [Microsoft, 2020].

PIT-37 fails with “initialization error”. What’s the workaround?

Corrupted local cache. Uninstall e-Deklaracje, delete the cache folder in %AppData%, reinstall v13, then open PIT-37 again [Elektroda, macgor, post #19281773]

Can antivirus block form loading?

Yes. Avast’s Ransomware Shield can block the %AppData% e-Deklaracje folder. Remove the block rule or add an exception [Elektroda, krix777, post #19363287]

Edge case: reinstall still throws certificate error—what next?

Export data, uninstall e-Deklaracje and AIR, delete %AppData%\e-Deklaracje*, reboot, install AIR 33.1+, then install the latest e-Deklaracje installer from gov.pl [Elektroda, jerz8, post #19396181] “Manual cleanup is the nuclear fix,” an MF help-desk engineer noted [MF support, 2021].

How do I perform a full clean reinstall?

  1. Backup data (Export). 2. Uninstall e-Deklaracje and Adobe AIR, then delete the e-Deklaracje folder in %AppData%. 3. Install AIR 33.1+, Adobe Reader, and the newest e-Deklaracje installer, then Import data.
