UPC BOX 4K Decoder: Remote Control Issue - Can't Switch Programs or Open Menu

Hello, I have a problem with the UPC BOX 4K decoder. Yesterday everything worked, in the evening I turned off the TV, and this morning the remote control just stopped responding .... it changes the volume, but you can't switch programs or open the menu. The second remote from the TV works normally. I've already tried resetting the decoder and even factory resetting the TV. The hotline cannot be reached by phone, there are no free consultants, and I would like to turn on something other than the children's channel for Christmas... Maybe there are some solutions that I haven't considered, please help ?

Hello. I don't know if I understood your problem correctly, but it seems that the remote control is not paired with the decoder. On page 8 of the manual, I found information that to pair the remote control with the set-top box, you must simultaneously press and hold the TV button and the number 0 for 10 seconds. After these 10 seconds, select the POWER button for 5 seconds. This is what the manual I found online says. Good luck.

Hello, I have a similar problem with the fact that after turning off the TV and starting it on the remote control from the set-top box, the volume up and down and the power supply do not work. Channel switching and other keys work. Nothing works on the TV remote. After restarting the decoder and TV, everything returns to normal until the next time the TV is turned off. Hi everyone. Today I got a new 4k box decoder and I have a problem with the remote control. The service technician started everything and the remote control worked normally, unfortunately after about 15 minutes the remote control stopped responding at all. Its LED is not lit, I checked the batteries (they are good). I tried to pair the remote control with the decoder but there is no reaction from the decoder, I reset the decoder to factory settings and nothing. It was as if the pilot had completely failed. For now, the only option is to control it with your phone

And the author tried to hit the remote hard on the table a few times to make it catch, I have jumbox decoders, and after hitting the remote on the table the remote started working.

Hello. I had the same problem. The white LED only flashed above the on/off button and the volume button worked. The manual said to hold down the number "0" button and the "Return to the program you were watching" button at the same time for 10 seconds and then the power button on the set-top box for 5 seconds. I did these steps but it didn't work.

Try the other way around? First press the power button for 5 seconds, then these 2 buttons on the remote control for 10 seconds (this will be exactly shown in the paper manual or displayed on the TV). It worked for me.

These 2 buttons together, the diode starts flashing for 10 seconds, it is best to do it from a distance of half a meter, then hold the switch on the decoder for 5 seconds. This happens when the batteries are weak or replaced, you need to reconnect the devices.
