Good afternoon all,
I'm having issues with my Milwaukee m12 c12c chargers whereby when I plug them into what I can only assume is ‘dirty power’ coming from my factory power inverter in a Ford custom (brand new) they go pop and die. The first one I managed to get resolved through warranty and I put it down to the charger was a duff from the factory but now the second has blown I’m rethinking. I have had a makita on charge at the same time with never any issues.
The second charger the large 68uF 400v capacitor also blew along side which seems odd but I have replaced.
My main question is do you guys agree with me that the chip pictures is probably the culprit as they have both got cracks in now. And if so what is this chip as I can’t find much about the circuitry in these chargers and there is very little writing to give me a reference to look up.
The only writing on the chip is ‘192’ ‘ TOP2556’
‘88902’
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks guys.
