[Solved] Chromecast 4.0 Remote Unresponsive: Checking Infrared Diode, Pairing & Processor Heat Issues

Hi,
I have a problem with the Chromecast 4.0 remote.

1. Does anyone of you know the solution?

- the pilot does not respond
- new batteries, checked with a meter
- I check the infrared diode with a photo camera from the phone, it does not light up
- after clicking any button, the diode between the buttons for switching on and changing the input signal on the TV does not light up (the diode between the two lowest buttons on the remote control)
- no response to a longer press of two keys (arrow and home) to pair.
- the dongle itself works (I checked with the apk on the phone and the Xbox pad).
- I undressed the remote control and connected it to the battery - I noticed that the plate with processors was heating up above the battery contacts.
- after submitting, still no reaction as above.


2. In the USA you can buy the remote control only, but I couldn't find it on the PL pages. Can you recommend a voice search alternative?

The dial button on my chromecast 4.0 remote is broken and I'm having trouble buying a second one as well. I think I will order in the German google store and redirect the parcel to Poland using mailboxde.
How to disassemble this remote control so as not to break it? can you give me a hint?

I bought a second Chromecast. I paired the old one with the TV remote. Do not reset the device because without the remote control you will not start. I also launched Android TV remote applications on my smartphone.

You disassemble the remote control like a telephone, carefully prying it open. Then unscrew the screws from the plate.

The remote control for Chromecast 4.0 is not infrared but on Bluetooth and you need to pair it with the device by holding down 2 buttons

no response from the remote control when pressing these 2 buttons, normally the LED is on during this pairing, it is not on for me.

And which buttons

For pairing "Back" and "Home". To reset the remote control, remove the batteries, wait a few minutes, press the "Home" button and while holding it, insert the batteries. When the LED starts flashing quickly, you can release the button.
