Hello, I have a problem with my 2010 Opel Astra J 1.4 Turbo 140km, while driving I get the message "Vehicle failure, contact service". After the message appears, the car minimally loses its power, the coolant temperature is OK (90 degrees), besides this, no other message appears. I would like to find out what the problem is and what should be done in this respect, does this result in a serious fault in the car. Please advise.

Clear message "Contact service", it doesn't necessarily have to be ASO.
We have no idea what's wrong with it, the power is cutting because it's protecting itself from damage- but why it's not knowing anything.

Could anyone else comment on this problem? Or if you need any more information I will write. Greetings.
Could it be the fault of some components? (Turbo / electrics / controllers etc).

And many, many more responding in the same way. Could be the fault of the components you mentioned and many more

Hmm well it's not an interesting situation, I thought I'd find out something, at most I'll have to drive up to the ASO :(

ASO will be expensive, look for an independent workshop and read the errors.

I'm saying that a workshop will suffice, it doesn't have to be an ASO straight away.

Such a message could mean anything , including a burnt out bulb .
If you don't hook the car up to a tester then you could be calling a fortune teller , the result will be the same as after this discussion .
Have a look here http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Category:Fault_Codes you will see how many options you have .

Topic summary

The user reports a "Vehicle failure, contact service" message appearing in their 2010 Opel Astra J 1.4 Turbo while driving, accompanied by a slight loss of power. The coolant temperature remains normal at 90 degrees. Responses suggest that the issue could stem from various components, including the turbo, electrical systems, or controllers. It is recommended to consult an independent workshop for diagnostics rather than an authorized service organization (ASO), as the problem could be minor, such as a burnt-out bulb. A diagnostic test is essential to identify the specific fault.
