Hi, The VSC, ESP, Brake (orange) and alternating Check parking brake and Check VSC system lights are on (as in the attached photos). After a reset (removing the minus clamp from the battery) the problem disappears and everything is OK for a while. The problem occurs intermittently. The car was connected to the computer at the service centre (just then the lights were not on) and no errors were found. Has anyone had a similar problem and how to diagnose it further? Start by checking the battery.

The battery is new and in very good condition. I have consulted several mechanics. None of them told me anything specific, apart from one piece of advice to disconnect the clamps from the negative battery terminal for a while and so reset the computer. This operation temporarily removes the indication and the alternating messages: "CHECK PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM" and "CHECK VSC SYSTEM" but after a few weeks the situation repeats itself. I have another appointment with a car electronics mechanic for Tuesday 30 August, maybe he can help solve this problem? Greetings

Mate a million percent you have a burnt out catalytic converter, the errors should be from the probe.
This is standard, and best of all the only way to get rid of it is with a new original underline catalytic converter.
If you buy a new one, but not an original, you will have the same thing again in a few thousand kilometres.
Does the car run a lot on the motorway?
