Hello
I am carrying on with the purchase, as in the topic, of an Ethernet relay card with digital inputs and outputs. I found one on aliexpress like this:
DT-R032 .
after clicking please select link to: 32CH ETHWiFi 485 RTC
I have so far looked at cards from AVT e.g. AVT5250 and the like, this one from the topic beats them in functionality, number of I/O.
In view of the fact that I would like to communicate with it via the internet, I would like to know if it is possible to communicate with it when it is plugged in (Ethernet or wifi) to a router with "world output" and the router itself has port forwarding set up for it etc. or do I have to place a Raspberry in the local network with an installed service, e.g. Domoticz, and forward the ports to it?
I would appreciate any pros and cons for this card, maybe there are alternative, cheaper, similar cards
thank you for any hints as I cannot figure out the mechanism of operation
