    Hi,
I would like to build a simple system for my bathroom and kitchen for flood detection: 3x water sensor + 2x ball valve.
The Tuya valve, water sensor looks interesting.
My problem is that these devices want wifi and internet access to a remote server.
And I often turn off the wifi at home, and usually always at night, and when I go away.
so such a system will not protect the apartment....

Do you have a good idea on this for securing a flat without wifi without internet?

    Thank you and best regards
    Piotr

Buy an ordinary ball valve actuator for wires, make yourself a simple circuit on transistors, first of low power to let the current flow through them to the gates of the higher power ones, or from the higher power ones to the coil of the relay and through the relay to the ball valve drive. Only do not let the valve drive have a return (opening) spring, because if the voltage fails, the servo will let go and water will flow through the valve again. It is better to make an electric return on the button.

I was also thinking about my own solution, e.g. to learn how to program Rassbery,
but such an untested program may not react when needed, and the system which is supposed to protect will remain inactive...
