    For a few days, random people stopped working Youtube Vanced. The app launches, loads videos and when I select a video it says "The video cannot be played in this app".
    The reason turned out to be simple - money. Google did not like the free bypassing of ads, and began to ban microG access to the google account, so the effects are as above. It helps to change the Google account logged into the microG, or logging in there not with the "Sign in" button, but "HUAWEI" .     Unfortunately, after logging in via the HUAWEI button, video playback still does not work. Only after changing to another profile assigned to the same email address, it causes the videos to play, but it is a different profile, so subscriptions, favorite videos, etc. are not visible. You'd have to re-subscribe.

    Yesterday there was also a problem with vanced, I uninstalled the vanced manager, restarted the phone, installed the vanced manager from now + tube + microg and it works, it's strange because it works on my S21 ultra all the time.

    I have YT Vanced 3/17/38 can't update manager. It says that I can't watch the movie. Interestingly, on the older phone the same configuration still works, even recently downloaded. I think it's a matter of days when they will block.
    I will try to download another version.

    Unfortunately, Vanced died. I had an older version that I didn't update as soon as I heard Vanced was about to be released. Maybe that's why it worked for me for so long, and more precisely, only recently I saw a message that the content could not be displayed. Combining with older or newer versions is unlikely to do anything. On my S20FE it doesn't work. HOWEVER ! Recently, I have been testing the YouTube ReVanced Extended application in version 17 with great success. It is practically a Vanced clone with the latest developments. So far it's been working great and I hope it stays that way.

    Revanced is cool, but I still have a problem with stopping the movie on average every few minutes ... The screen goes black and you have to start a new movie to make something move. Has someone solved this problem?

    I have the same problem, on average every 40 seconds everything stops. Maybe it's a settings issue but I doubt it. They're probably already taking revanced 😒

    I was able to fix the playback issue. The description is on Reddit, just write it in the search engine and the first result from the shore. Download Youtube ReVanced and "patch" the installer (.apk file) using the Revanced Manager application.
    Search in google:

    I don't know if I can post links, so please do your own research.
    But to make things worse, background playback doesn't work. I'll let you know how I deal with it.

    You have successfully repaired the revanced application by following the instructions. Apparently I messed something up during patching previously. Everything works. The only functionality that doesn't seem to work is the sponsor block but it's not a problem.
    Remember to download YT ReVanced from official sites because there are a lot of fake websites with a supposedly ready-made .apk file that can be infected!

    BruceD - Thanks to the "King of Gold"! I was already broken because, unfortunately, ReVanced stopped working for me again. Not only playing in the background, but after 2-3 minutes it stopped playing. I got angry and took the YT Premium trial period to test it. And what? And ..wno. The YT application normally, i.e. with the screen on, worked properly, but when the screen was turned off after 2-3 minutes it stopped playing. I installed what you provided in the link and so far it works perfectly.

    I join the thanks. The old Vanced stopped working for me in exactly the same way as described in the first post. It helped to switch to a different account, but you know - this is not it.
    I'm adding a link to YT Music Revanced - HERE . It works fine for me, you can listen in the background and without ads :-)
