My Metex MS-9150 Digital Multimeter section works fine except the Ohmeter displaying exactly HALF of the actual resistance under test. I've checked voltages (V = 3V) Vref, various components, etc. Multimeter is based on MAX134, its datasheet talks about the /2 effective measured value that has to be multiplied by 2 for the real displayed result, this operation can be done by microprocessor or by MAX134 itself. Now I'm thinking this operation doesn't take place, and the /2 (X2) operation is engaged logically by protocol bits, I'm focusing on this because ALL the ohmeter (automatic) ranges behave the same way and precisely with same result (half value displayed). It is screwing me mad, any suggestion please? Thank you
