Hi. I need some help for this sensor as well since I broke the reset button.
What pins do I have to connect to just get it into simple pairing mode? Right now all I get is a steady red LED light when powering it on.
Guess that's quite easy compared to flashing it like you guys are going to do.

You can use tweezers to connect left to right pins on your first picture to get into the pairing mode.

Are you trying to replace the firmware on your device or?

Don't want to flash anything. Just want to get into Pairing Mode. I think it's 4 pins in total. How do I connect them properly without tools?

Use a paperclip and connect and hold those pins for 5 or 10 seconds (maybe longer). The LED should start flashing, I believe.

Holding those pins for 5 seconds turns the LED off and on. Same on the opposite side.

Ok, then power on your Tuya application on your smartphone and try to add a new device, or maybe read the manual for your device.

It has to flash slow or fast first to get recognized by the app. As long as I can't get into this state, I won't do anything.
That's why I asked how to get it into pairing mode when the buttons are off.

    Hello @koda3,
you can simulate button press by shorting the button contacts. Please consult the manual to check how to enter this device into pairing mode, but most likely one long press should be enough.
