Hello, I have exactly the same. I could make it work with OpenBeken and I can provide some instruction if you need a start.
Regrettably I could not set a wake-up time interval or temp range interval to trigger temperature updates so these are very frequent and battery will likely drain fast.
What do you mean by connecting the CB3S module to ground? What is the need?
CB3S module connected to a PCB using colored wires.

When you power the device via the battery holder, the mosfet between the CB3S and GND has to be bridged.
You powerd the module directly. So it was not nessesary.

The module works, I think as intended.

But I'd prefer a mode were the CB3S is the master and always on. Just to get a website which shows T and H.

    Ok, not quite my expectation:
The TuyaMCU sends nothing. Means i get no serial packets in the log after it starts the CB3S module. all over strange behaviour: the CB3S Module is powered for about 8-10s, then the power is switched off and on again for 8-10s and repeat.
Was a HW problem. had to fix one connection. Works now.

Found one more or less (comfortable) Bug: after resetting the device all configs are gone. But not the autoexec.bat. However, it is not listed in the filesystem anymore.
