Check if there is power coming out from the controller to the throttle. It may be that the display - dashboard shows various modes, and there is no power to the throttle.

I had this logical suspicion, but my skills in this area are limited. An electronics friend is supposed to check it for me, but he's a little busy. Maybe some suggestions on how to do it
