    Hello.

    Description of the problem:
Today I noticed that the controller does not control the operation of the furnace.
I went to the oven and I see error E8. According to the instructions, this is probably a problem with the fan.

    Own repairs:
I deleted the error, back to work and ... nothing. Further error E8.
I did RESET of the parameters. Nothing too. E8 still on the display.

    More:
I just had a baby and we got home ... and here the fuck was for him :( Anyone got an idea?
It's late, and I don't know if calling a service technician after 300 PLN to find a fan defect is a wise idea. I am looking for a fare at the moment but I have no idea what to do with the stove.

I came to the conclusion that it is best to buy a flimsy part quickly, but I would prefer someone to judge it if it would be 100% or repair the damaged part. Due to the fact that the new one costs around EUR 150 in DE, and in Poland 700-800 PLN and it is possible
I can invest it myself. As I presume, the repair service should be cheaper than the new part.

Someone knows the fan plate diagram or will advise what could fall there or where to look or what to check in the design itself?
Anyone know a specialist in Wroclaw what could help me?

    I am asking for advice.

Added after 12 [hours] 27 [minutes]:

    The problem has been fixed.

Due to the fast installation of the fan just below the heat exchanger and the condensate drain, sometimes drops get from the pipe into the boiler. It can also be, as for me, a matter of a stolen piece of the outlet pipe from the very tip of the installation. The air pipe received some rainwater, hail, snow combined with the wind during the recent storms and we have a cake.
Water with acid gets into the plate and burns the paths. Sometimes one is missing and there is no conduction.
The cost of the tile = the cost of the fan = about PLN 900 net + replacement and stuff.

But ... sure, a nice serviceman did an excellent job. Considering the good of today, he tried and soldered one suspicious (previously cleaned) path. For me, a golden man, professionalism and individual approach to the client.
I changed the service technician immediately :)
He didn't cancel like a mother, really respect.
As something on priv I can give a bearing on a man - DW and around.

Thanks to everyone for your willingness and best regards (already hot ..) ..

Scheme you will not get anywhere The fan falls in this model most often through a damaged corrugated condensate drain pipe that sometimes breaks (pipe about PLN 40) if you chimney leaks you need to replace the seals at least in the horizontal section because these most often pressure and the condensate floods the exchanger if you do not say goodbye again with a fan. Extremely irresponsible on the part of the service technician because he exposes his ass by self-repairing the boiler electronics.

I will say this - I appreciate people who can fix and not replace. Every fewer specialists in the industry, more exchangers.
    For me a classy guy.

Thanks for advice. The roof is already being prepared, I will also cover the controller = panel. The shit location of key components and DeDietrich's trashy security are probably specially designed this way. So let's not allow the grandfather's constructions and let's not make money for the company. If Polish competition is better (products / service), I choose the Polish one.

    greetings

@ grelo1 I had a similar problem with the e8 message in the elektronik logic controller mounted to the per eco stove. I called a service technician who said that it was a damaged sensor or the hot water temperature reached about 70 degrees Celsius or the set temperature of hot water was exceeded by 8 degrees. I removed the sensor, immersed it in cold water and put it back in the place where it was installed, after doing this, the e8 error disappeared and the controller continued to function without any reservations. I am responding only now, after looking for an answer to this problem, and if it is a valuable message for you, then you can restart the driver at a low cost. Regards.

@ grelo1, the chimney pipes can become unsealed not only at the connection with the gasket, but they break, or the condensate thwarts the thin surfaces of the material and hence serious damage to the boiler.
I recommend that this fragment of the chimney be in good technical condition, and not just a temporary repair (correct), so that there are no further emergency surprises.

Probably the sensor was good, but the connection contacts had high resistance. When unfastening and plugging in, the contacts improved, hence it worked well later.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the E8 error encountered in the De Dietrich MCR / II 24/28 MI furnace, indicating a potential fan issue. The user attempted to reset the controller and clear the error but was unsuccessful. Responses suggest that the E8 error may stem from a damaged condensate drain pipe or issues with the chimney seals, which can lead to fan failure. One user shared a successful fix involving the removal and cooling of a sensor, which resolved the error. There is a consensus on the importance of ensuring the chimney and sensor connections are in good condition to prevent further issues. The user is considering whether to repair the fan or replace it, weighing the costs of parts and service.
