    CNG System HELP

    Added after 4 [minutes]:

CNG cylinder mounted in the vehicle's cargo bed. Information labels on a CNG tank with technical details and expiration date. GM Fuel Gauge + IAT module in CNG installation. Close-up of a CNG installation component with a warning label.

The system was put in in 2011 and says to have it serviced and inspected every 3 years. The tank says good until 2031. Since I bought the truck I haven't used the CNG system other than what was in the tank and then haven't used it since because there were no places to fill it up where I lived. Since relocating there are a few places to fill it so decided to use it but it either won't even try to switch from petrol to gas. Or if it does it switches right back. I filled the tank so that isn't the issue. What other issues could there be? Anything I can try or should I take it into a CNG service professional and does anyone know how much it runs to service a tank and system?

Firstly - what kind of car is it, secondly - factory installation or installed later. Show details of the installation, there should be a valve on the cylinder, another one may be on the installation before the reducer - are they open?

I don't know if you have already used the car, but the costs:
1, it depends on the country of registration, as follows, not every station will check your CNG-powered car
2 you need to find a workshop that handles it (designated place) with a trained employee.
    3. Look for someone nearby who can connect a computer and diagnose your installation
How much does a liter of CNG cost you now? Trucks running on CNG are much quieter and weaker.
If you have a good installer, you can always convert it to NLPG faster, someone will service it and repair it for you.

Is it some sort of Scania on the roof?

In my opinion, it's a small Sprinter or Iveco type delivery van. Large trucks have 8 CNG cylinders, usually on the sides of the frame.

It's not a truck, just a pickup truck from the USA. As usual, the bot and the translator made a mess.
