    Hello,

My Satel Integra panel has an INT-KNX 2 module, I saw there is a new firmware, I wanted to update it but I can't find any instructions on how to connect it.
It seems it requires to use the 3 pin connector on the USB cable, with the green, white black adapter but there are no instructions on which cable goes where, if the module has to be disconnected from the power and how to proceed as at start the software asks to restart the module. (I searched on Satel's website and also if there was any video)

I also have 2 issues for which some hints would be appreciated:
I have a magenta acoustic glass sensor that is installed for more than a year that suddenly got triggered without any reason, the home was empty (no glass broken or loud noise and quiet environment),
It went in alarm blinking non stop for 2 days. (also sending alarm signal constantly to the panel)
I was advised by Satel to send it for service but when I was going to remove it, it was finally back in normal mode.
Is there anything that could make a false alarm?

-I have 2 windows where I have issues with the magnetic sensors. One is sometimes showing as tampered (2EOL) whereas nothing was touched.
The other sometimes shows as window open, the window remained closed for a whole day and when I check I see the window appeared open a couple of times for 1 to 10 seconds.
I checked the wiring is well connected on the panel and in the windows the cables are soldered.
Could this be defective magnetic switches or should I search another problem?

    Thank you
AI: Could you please specify the exact model or version of your Satel Integra panel? This will help in providing precise instructions for the firmware update.

AI: Can you describe the environment where the acoustic glass and magnetic sensors are installed? Factors like temperature, humidity, or nearby electronic devices might affect their performance.
Glass sensor is between an open kitchen and a living room, away from the heat and moisture.

Maybe you have too much distance between the detector and the magnet?

Thanks, as the magnet weren't the ones provided with the sensors (the window mechanism is not allowing to install the long provided ones) they were a little weak.
I replaced them with slightly stronger ones (a little bit thicker so they get closer to the sensor) and made sure they are perfectly aligned, since I didn't have fake alarm detections but another problem happened. Randomly when opening the window the 2EOL triggers a tampering alert.

I have replaced the magnets on all my windows and it is the only one that has this trouble, this leads me to believe the issue is a sensor but I don't see how this could trigger the tampering.

I get an error 404 when visiting that post.

    Thanks for your help.

Check that the resistors are accurately connected.

The content of the post you cannot open is:

A new firmware version for the INT-KNX-2 module has been released with the following changes:

    Added:
    - "Interrupt output type" option for "Panel output" type objects.
    - the KNX "Read after initialisation" flag for objects of type "PBX Output"
    - option to set the pulse length for the "PBX Input" type object
    - support for the response of the "PBX Input" type object to exceeding value thresholds - supported conditions: <,>, =, >=, <=
    - support of new data types "2.001 switch control" and "18.001 scene control"

    Improved:
    - refreshing of input/output states after writing the configuration to the module
    - stability of KNX bus communication

Unfortunately, the update is not typical. You cannot use Satel's USB-RS module because the INT-KNX module requires RS-485. Satel recommends their own ACCO-USB converter, but the upgrade will work with any USB-RS485 converter. I upgraded the firmware of my INT-KNX-2 using a cheap USB-RS485 converter from Waveshare Link. Additionally, you need to be careful about the firmware version. Unfortunately Satel published two different versions v2.02 and v3.01 (both version date 2024-03-20) without any guidance. Satel technical support recommended to update the module version 2.01 dated 2016-03-09 (I had one) to version 2.02. With me after the firmware update I can finally control KNX scenes via 18.001 scene control variables.
