Long-Term Storage Effects on 3.5 IPS LCD Displays in Handheld Consoles

Is it possible to store a 3.5" LCD IPS display for a long time or is it not possible because they have organic materials in the liquid crystals and LED backlights that slowly degrade and lose brightness, color and contrast during storage? i have handheld consoles with this display technology IPS LCD

IPS LCDs generally store very good. The liquid crystals don't wear out just from sitting on a shelf the way OLED materials do. The main aging mechanisms are the LED backlight, adhesives, and polarizer films, and they degrade much more slowly when the display isn't powered on. If you store your handhelds in a cool , dry place away from direct sunlight, the screens should remain in good condition for many years. The batteries are likely to age long before the IPS displays become problem.
