Hello everyone, I want to learn to solder and would like to learn at home. I've seen some kits available online but most look like their made for children. I want something professional, something that is worth the money. I've have no exerience with this but am a very fast learner. If anyone knows about how I can begin my learning please help. By the way, I plan on repairing mobile phones.

You can easily learn soldering at home. Just buy all the kits and read these nice tutorials:

The Soldering Guides which Vivek Rajawat has posted are really good. I took a short glance at them and they seem to be perfect for learning the basics. I wonder if there exist even video tutorials about this topic on youtube? I think this would be practical. If it's not available someone should start doing that

You should check out the professional solder training kit (http://bit.ly/solder-training-kit) which is being used in IPC J-STD-001 Revision F and Revision G training curriculum. I strongly recommend this kit because I found it includes everything that we need during the training. Nice Kit!
