handmade homemade solar panels

hi there,
from whom I can get some useful information about making a handmade solar cell.
by the way I dont want to buy the panels from the market, and want to know how I can make it by myself.

You are using the terms "panel" and "cell" interchangeably. They are not the same thing. A panel is an array of cells whereas a cell is, err...um...one cell.

If it's a cell that you want to make (as you stated), then you will need equipment that can melt and purify silicon, such as an _electric arc furnace_, the ability to dope the silicon and to cut it into wafers. Or, you could try this:

I can't help but give out a word of warning here. There are a lot of cells being sold on the internet that are factory rejects. The manufacturers have good quality control systems in place that cull out a lot of cells that do not meet their standards for various reasons. The worst being cells with shorts and most due to not meeting voltage standards. I don't recommend that people attempt this at home. It can be done, but is beyond most peoples ability at home, unless you have a clean room to assemble in and testing equipment to weed out the bad cells. If it is just a hobby and you don't expect the cells to last more than a couple years then have some fun and build away.

You can also make your own solar panels or cells by cutting the top off 2n3055 power transistors filling with clear epoxy resin and the joining the transistors in parallel ignoring the emitters

If you really want to experiment or collect the thown away garden lamps that you often see people throw out Nine times out of ten all thats wrong with them is battery, switch, Led other than this its typically water damage cheap construnction and poor manufacture Most of the time the solar cells are intact and in working order
