It seems to work work, the card reader etc but the fan controllers seems to go to "automatic" and no matter how much I turn the dials the fans seem to have a mind of its own.
It also has its own setting for when the alarm should go off and what temp is the "danger temp", I would like to have control of these settings but... the Chinese seller does not know squat and searching online (or on youtube for reviews) has turned up naught as well :(
Anybody out there own this (if so, HEEEEELP!) ? or has a user manual for this?
Have you approached the manufacturer for details Start with them first but ask in the first instance for alternative suppliers sometimes you can obtain information from the supplier more readily than you can from the manufacturer
They are reluctant to give out this information so best is appraoch ask for list of suppliers first then re approach all , blanket email, and ask for diagrams someone will hopefully be able to help you
An alternative approach that has worked for me is to make a separate enquiry, pretending you have an interest in the supply of a large numbes of such devices. As for a quotation & delivery date. Then if you get a response (the Chinese are generally very hungry for business) say you need some further details & proceed to milk the info you need. Naughty but I bet it works!
I approached the seller who I bought it from and he tells me all the details he has is included with the package (it just came with a basic manual explaining where the connections go, I already knew that, no explanation on how to use it).
Searched for the manufacturer on Google but no idea who makes it :(
Peter, will search for one of the wholesellers and try your idea, sneaky... but good! I like way you think!
You have to be sometimes ,but it works ,thats all i can tell you not always but when needs must this is what you have to do
It would be nice if ywe could have simple straight forward bussiness I prefer bussiness that way but this is now the way of the world now so its , " Cant beat them join them" , What else can I say
Had to use sneaky ways in the past as well when I purchased from one seller and didnt get a manual but another seller had the manual... (to give one example)
It's just irritating in this case that no one is selling this with a user manual, gotten so frustrated contemplating just buying a new fan controller set from another company that does pack the user manual with the kit
It is a joke Ryan think we have an internet a set of so called interacting countries who trade all over the world in each an everyone’s country immaterial or where they come from
It makes no difference anymore
We have an economic disaster man made as well
It is man made as well and for some unknown reason, god alone knows why ?? None of us can actually co operate with each other help each other coupled with a set of governments and leaders who do nothing but complain about unemployment , companies left right and center Who can ill afford to lose business can ill afford or lose customers
So many engineers highly trained highly capable of doing all types of work and yes we cant do one simple thing , Share information and help each other
What a sad world we have become!! It’s a complete Joke a complete paradox with regards to the net And to top this all with all this technology would you also believe we have a refusal to communicate, take messages , answer emails , or even attempt to share get business re evolved start manufacturing off , service equipment on the market already , provide training but we quite prepared to spend billions of pounds , dollars etc building weapons , destroying each other , with no or little concern for peace
I find this amazing combined with a group of leaders who point fingers at every other country in the world shouting messages of this countries holds weapons of mass destruction whilst they themselves build weapons 1000 times capable of mass destruction than any other country in the world then use that power to declare war on those countries that are in fact weaker than themselves rather than take that money with those countries and show them how to invest that type of money recreating the world instead of destroying it
Perhaps I am nuts personally I think they nuts myself and very childish A goup of adolesant men who havent quite got over playing toy soldiers yet A pupppet show A muppet show
The worst part about all of this I think is what Ryan ?? They sacrifice the lives of many good men , women , children , families who will suffer for year and years ahead whilst we also pay fo this to satisfy thier own personal power stuggle but Never themselves have you noticed They manage somehow to walk away from this unscaved very wealthy and thankyou very much for your votes YES 100 % True
Ridiculously stupid this All this technology and we still can’t communicate makes you wonder why they ever invented Bluetooth
have you ever read where the bluettoth inignia originated from
Read this just for interest
Where did the term Bluetooth originate? Bluetooth was originally developed by mobile phone company Ericsson in 1994. Looking for a unique name for the technology, they settled on "Bluetooth" after a tenth century viking king called Harald "Bluetooth" Blatand.
During his reign, he united Denmark and Norway, and was well known for his ability to help people communicate. Presumably, Ericsson's hope was that Bluetooth technology could do the same.
Its just interest Ryan Sometimes different subjects take on an new meaning and encourage different views inspiring communication otherwise we dont develop lateral thinking
Having an enquiring mind Ryan wanting to know just that little bit more
"Having an enquiring mind Ryan wanting to know just that little bit more"
I agree. But sometimes it gets a bit frustrating when I think about it too much, especially when I look at the clowns who hold office and make decisions that they know nothing of, that affects people like me. And most irritating is the vested interests who have their ear...
A user acquired a 4-fan controller with integrated card reader from eBay, which functions partially but exhibits uncontrollable fan speed behavior despite manual dial adjustments. The device includes configurable alarm thresholds for temperature monitoring, but lacks accessible documentation or user manuals. Attempts to obtain detailed operational guidance from the original seller and online sources were unsuccessful. Community suggestions include contacting the manufacturer or alternative suppliers directly, employing strategic inquiries to elicit technical information, and considering replacement with a better-documented fan controller. The discussion highlights challenges in obtaining technical support and documentation for generic or Chinese-manufactured electronic components, emphasizing the need for supplier transparency and shared technical resources.
