*Hello to Professional World !*
I'd like to start with a memorable quote:
Eleanor Roosevelt said,
" believe that anyone can conquer fear by doing the things he fears to do, provided he keeps doing them until he gets a record of successful experience behind him."
Here is what I fear, to fail on a research
I have just taken a research project about wireless sensor networks, smart home energy monitoring systems. Despite lack of my knowledge on electronic circuit design as well as wireless systems, I am keen on development side of a design as well as gaining sufficient experience on low performance computing. At this stage, I do need someones (in this case, you) help that can guide me to a simple solution to get a working board then do the programming.
I believe an Arduino, an Xbee sensor, and a AC/DC sensor will fit my requirements in order to measure and control each home appliance separately. This is the most significant and key factor in my research, embedding the whole design behind a wall plug, therefore, it will be invisible to users.
I might be asking too much devotion as a person you do not know, but it would be great for me if you just tell me how I can reach my solution. I honestly have no idea how these (Arduino, Xbee, and AC/DC sensor) should be connected.
In any case, thanks for sharing your great knowledge within this platform (EEWEB).
All the best,
Y. Mustafa
