Transformer for Balanced to Unbalanced Audio?

Hi

I have a piece of gear with balanced outputs, and i need to send it to gear with UNbalanced inputs.

I want to build the adapter in the attached image, from:

Here's my question. Would any of the transformers below work for this purpose?

It would obviously need to be an audio frequency transformer.
Can you give details of the equipments you intend to interconnect ?
Have you tried the DJ support forum at the site where you got the circuit ?

In short, my source gear is a balanced pair of piezo mics, and therefor i was advised that no transformer will have adequately high impedance to function in this scenario.

I liked the transformer because it's simple and passive, but it looks like i'll need an op-amp with a differential input (?), or _maybe_ i can find a high-impedance transistor pre-amp with a balanced input.

i'm not even sure a balanced piezo is necessary for a very short cable run (under 1').

i welcome your suggestions!
