Typed in Reply, entered CAPTCHA characters, got a "wrong characters" error. Upon return to the question, my text was GONE! [Fortunately I copied it into the clipboard before I hit "Submit Reply" because I know how unstable this website typically is ]

This was on Firefox 29.0.1/Win 7

Hi Steve,

I also comment often on the forum and didnt encountered much problem as of the moment. Earlier i tried commenting on the other question and it run smoothly.

After further experiences with replying to Questions, it's clear that the CAPTCHA is behaving exactly as Colin described:

First press of the Submit Reply button results in a CAPTCHA Error Message, stating that the characters I entered didn't match -- even if they did. Then, it passes on the second try. This happens every time I reply to a Question.

Another bit of information on this problem:

The Client Side validator is working correctly: if I _do_ type in the wrong characters, I get the following message right above the form [without leaving the page]:

bq). The characters you entered did not match the word verification.

So, it appears to be an issue with the Server side validator.

I just thought what if i cleared my cache? If this message will show then i would conclude that i have no problem.
