3ph motors usually have their metallic body grounded either to the PE conductor of their power supply or to the earthing system terminal locally established in the building.
I wonder which of the above two methods is the most appropriate?

Hi Hassan,

Usually, it is on the body or metallic frame to the ground earthing surface where a person in contact with the motor will not experience any appreciable voltage difference.

Thank you very much for your reply. What I really need is to know if we should bring a PE conductor from MCC and connect it to the motor body or we'd better connect the motor body to the building ground mesh and bring only three phase conductors from MCC?
which one is more appropriate?
