I am designing a coax lighting surge protector and I need expert advise on electrical specifications for 2 main components, ceramic capacitor and a Gas Discharge Tube, to accommodate for the for the specs below:
Max power: 375 W
Turn on: 600Vdc±20%
Throughput energy: < 220 µJ For 8/20 µs Waveform
Surge max: 50 kA 1000-4-5 8/20 µs Waveform 500 joules
Turn on time: 2.5ns for 2kV/ns
The sequence would be: Antenna - coax cable - Lightning arrestor - coax - RF equipment
Lightning arrestor: Connector - ceramic capacitor - GDT - Connector
I am not an electrical engineer so please bear with me if Im lacking info, but please let me know info is needed.
I very much appreciate any advice.
