Hello,
I got a Tektronix 2236 yesterday and it came with an HP 10440A probe. The probe is labelled as 100:1, 10 MOhm // 2.5 pF FOR 1 MOhm // 6 - 14 pF. This suggests to me a 100x attentuation ratio. However, when I hooked it up to the oscilloscope and tested it with several circuits ranging from 0.5 mV to 9 V, the readout suggested it was behaving like a 10x probe. The input on the scope specifies 1 MOhm @ 22 pF. Am I missing something?
Thanks.
Jacob
