Creating a Flashing light circuit with a SPDT relay

Hello Chaps,

I'm looking at designing a circuit with a SPDT Relay that gives it power for a second, then stops for a second, then loops essentially giving it power for another second, reason behind this is because I want to have a circuit that powers two (12v) led lights and makes them essentially flash, one of them is on for a second, then turns off and other one turns on for a second, and loop .

I hope this makes any sense to anyone because at the moment my explanation is looking like a straight up mess >.

Not quite what I was looking for :/ Looking at powering two lights then making them flash... Unfortunately they don't already flash so I need to create a circuit that will make them flash.
I've also updated the question slightly to be a bit more understandable.

Instead of relay i have used transistors to avoid the break and make sound of the
relay .All other details are mentioned in my attachment .

You can do this with a 555 and 3 other components.

The max current 555 ic can deliver through its out put pin 3 is 200 ma.in your case for
one section30 x8= 240 which is beyond the ic limit which will heat up the ic and cause failure.

That is why i used power transistor and Mr Caleb Fraser is using 12v led where the current rating will be high he can parallel one more led to each section with out making
any change but provide good heat sink for the power transistor.
