What kind of probe should i buy which i want to make a motor run when it detects water (rain)?

Also any tips /youtube channels for someone who has very few background in electronics engineering? Thanks

Hi,

There are plenty of types of sensors/ transducers you can use. You could use rain gauges, rain sensor modules,etc. But that depends on you and your application.
