    Hello
I have a 12 metre well with a soil pump.
I draw about 5,000s of water a day from it, but in summer I need larger amounts of water and the water does not always come up. I have come up with a dry-run protection for the pump, a sensor relay with a delay and a solenoid which opens the water from the line in the absence of its own. The problem is that my sensor has failed, and I got it from an unknown source, it does not say anything on it. All I know is that when there is water there must be a 230v closed circuit and when there is no water it must be open. I need help to find out if the SW-ce pendant probe from elektromontex is good? I'm a bit of a novice in this field

Fellow pumpers, there are several ways to protect pumps against dry-running.
1 A special 4-20mA probe in the well connected to the controller.
2- A normal probe with NC contact also in the well.
    3- capacitive sensor.
3-checking the pump operating time with a pressure switch signal.
