Help with wiring a switch

I have a 12v Temperature Controlled Switch. When it's hot the switch is on, when it's cold the switch is off. When the switch is on it turns on a solenoid. When the switch is off the solenoid is off. I want to be able to be able to turn the entire system on/off. Also, if the Temperature Controlled Switch fails, I want to be able to turn off the Temperature Controlled Switch and keep the Solenoid on. If possible, I want to do both things with one switch. Please describe with a wiring diagram. Thanks

How many pins or wires does your switch have?

The thermostat has a ground, a positive in, and a positive out to the solenoid.

Provide DPDT switch in the in put now you can switch off the entire system
when required, again if you want to find the failure of the thermal switch ,you have to
add a lot of circuits which will make the circuit more complicated, again you have to
monitor the failure of the added circuits,for example you have to find the max temp at
which the circuit to activate, you may require an additional thermal sensor etc ,
your thermal switch may fail once in a blue moon.so think twice before before you
try to do some thing .This is only a suggestion from me.
